FXU Stop Motion Advertisements: Storyboards

I haven't posted anything for a while, but that's because I've been busy animating!!
I  have had the lovely opportunity to make 3 stop motion adverts for the Falmouth and Exeter Students' Union (FXU), to highlight and inform students about their Advice Service.

The 3 adverts consisted of an introductory one which gave an overview of the service, one focusing on how they can help students with their money problems and another on helping them with their university issues. They needed to be simple and to the point, as well as lighthearted in tone, even though they were about the student having various problems that were making them feel depressed.

Here are the 3 storyboards I drew up:

Inflorescence Storyboards: Scenes 7, 8, 9 & 10

The latest set of storyboard panels for new short film Inflorescence. This is my favourite set I've done so far, as I think the drawings have improved and I enjoyed doing the flashback scenes where Daisy is younger. I'm over halfway through now too! Woop woop!!

System Error: Inflorescence Storyboards Update

Here is the (rather short) storyboard for Scene 6 of System Error Studios new film, which I can now reveal is called Inflorescence. The Crowdfunder is well under way for the film, and a booklet of my storyboards and concept art is being offered as one of the perks! Sweet!!

Scene 2 Storyboards for System Error

And here we have the second instalment of storyboards for the new System Error Studios film, featuring more bushy beards and some rather aggravated looking young women. Number 4 is my personal favourite.

System Error Studio Short Film Storyboard

I've finished storyboarding the first scene for System Error Studio's new live action short film. I've really concentrated on getting the lighting right, which has helped give the panels a lot more atmosphere than my previous storyboards. I've been working from the script and under quite tight direction from the director.

Coffee Storyboards for System Error

Did some storyboarding for a System Error client pitch yesterday, for advertising three different types of coffee. I've decided shading with pencil on these storyboards is better than shading with pen, as it produces a clearer looking result, and clarity is important with these! So I shall be using this technique from now on.
